ROBERT SCOTT THAYER
Children’s author Robert Scott Thayer is known for his award-winning Kobee Manatee® Children’s Educational Series.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Robert Scott
Thayer started writing songs in the third grade. A Temple University graduate, Robert continued perfecting his craft performing at various venues.
Thayer has received numerous International Songwriting Awards for his music in the acoustic, pop and jazz genres.
He was discovered by a promoter for the 25thanniversary of the original Woodstock Festival. As a result, Thayer was slated to open up for Joan Baez at the historic event in upstate New York.
Robert is also a children’s book author. He created the award-winning Kobee Manatee® Children’s Educational Picture Book series. Grammy Award-Winner, Jim Cravero produced his popular children’s tune, Kobee’s Song. Robert said, “It’s fun, upbeat, and has a solid reggae grove!” Hear it on Jango Radio.
